Show a status line from a mod
The statusLine setting runs a shell script to print one line; a mod calls $.ui.status(text) and its own line appears under the prompt (after a ⚠ and the mod's name). It stays until you change it, one line per mod, and you can set it from a hook or a timer.

Put a .claude-plugin/plugin.json ({"name": "my-mod"}) and a hooks/hooks.json ({"modules": ["register.js"]}) in a folder, save the code above as hooks/register.js, and run claude --plugin-dir . to load it for one session. claude plugin validate . lists the events it hooks and the APIs it calls.
